On sunny mornings, before 6:30, quietly, before the day’s bustle, the light slowly creeps across the front entryway. I watch from the cool, dark living room with a cup of coffee and the news, stopping to look up from the chaos of the world to watch the warmth spread like a pool of honey across the front hall closet, reassurance that the sun still rises, the Earth still turns, a fresh day will start.
