Here is a bumper crop of cherry tomatoes gathered around one of their larger brethren. Lit by the morning sun spilling into their bowl, they are what I imagine joy tastes like – the fruits of sun and soil and rain; sweet, and occasionally bursting at the seams with their intensity. They are small, but they are powerhouses of flavour.
