Painted when news of the first vaccines were announced to be ready for the public, it felt like a little bit of light at the end of a grim and devastating year – something to celebrate; a feeling of a page being turned, of cautious hope like the taste of sparkling bubbles on the tongue, an effervescent and cheery pink.
