Stacked about us, the books patiently waiting our attention sit companionably by our beds and favourite chairs; they become part of our interior lives and intimate spaces. Read or unread, the contours of their pages and dust jackets become familiar, even good friends after awhile.
Points of interest include my most favourite teacup sitting among a pile of warm and friendly books, the leaves of a pothos, the fronds of a lucky bamboo, and my aloe vera plant, Vera, framing the scene.
